Weimar Center staff and faculty members welcomed General Conference President, Ted Wilson, to the Weimar Center luncheon at the recent General Conference Session in Atlanta, Georgia. Elder Wilson gave a short address showing his support for the mission of Weimar Center and encouraging staff and faculty members to press forward with Weimar's unique calling.

We are pleased to welcome Chad Bernard as Weimar Academy’s new principal. Chad and his wife Melinda, a dental hygienist, are from Michigan, where Chad has been a teacher and principal for the past 14 years. Chad has already taken over responsibiliites at the academy and will be moving to the Weimar campus this summer.

Eight students from Weimar Center Elementary have recently completed a fund raising effort for earthquake relief work in Haiti. Desire to help the people of Haiti began when students watched news clips about the disaster on the internet.

Dr. Neil Nedley and Dr. Randy Siebold appeared on the 3ABN Today program on Thursday, October 8, 2009. They discussed answers to America's health care problems and also talked about a crisis in America that is almost never in the news, yet may have deadly consequences for the U.S. economy. That crisis is the state of our education system.
