Neil Nedley, M.D., author of Proof Positive and Depression—The Way Out, has accepted the call to become president of the new Weimar Center of Health and Education.
A graduate of Loma Linda University Medical School and a chair member of numerous national and local medical boards, Dr. Nedley is a full-time practicing physician in internal medicine with an emphasis in cardiology, gastroenterology, preventive medicine, mental health, and difficult-to-diagnose patients.
He has also been a featured guest on numerous national television and radio broadcasts and has lectured extensively around the world on nutrition, lifestyle, depression, stress, and physical and mental health and how each relates to healthy spirituality.
Says Dr. Nedley, "I am very excited to begin this vital work at Weimar, especially in light of the new partnership with Amazing Facts. With their strong history of media and evangelism, the new Weimar will be able to disseminate vital information concerning physical and mental health to this nation and beyond in a way not previously possible. Weimar will help countless thousands apply life-changing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual truths to bring about dramatic, positive change."
Pastor Doug Batchelor, president of Amazing Facts, adds, "I can't imagine a more thrilling development for the future of Weimar! His addition to the Amazing Facts and Weimar partnership is a match made in heaven. It will bring a powerful infusion of life and energy into the biblical concept of health evangelism."
Dr. Nedley also eagerly anticipates the continuing development of the Weimar College and Academy. He says, "I am thrilled to welcome Amazing Facts College of Evangelism to the new Weimar education experience. We have already begun recruiting professors and students who wholeheartedly embrace Weimar's vision of academic and spiritual excellence. If you know anyone who would like to join us in this bold vision, teachers or students, please have them contact me at nnedley@weimar.org."
Pastor Batchelor explains, "Dr. Nedley's visionary understanding of the relationship between good health and positive Christian spirituality makes him a perfect fit. His energetic, visionary leadership and kind personality impressed our board and staff with the confidence that he is God's man for this mission. We are excited about what the Lord can do through him at Weimar."
Currently, Dr. Nedley has a private practice located in Ardmore, Oklahoma, where he lives with his wife Erica and four children. He will assume his new duties in Weimar, California, as soon as plans for the transition can be finalized.
